Dan Resecker: Guitar and lead vocals |

Dan, a founding member of Bluegrass 409, has been playing music for over 30 years. While playing many genres over the years, his influences from Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Wayne Lewis and many others has kept his heart in bluegrass. Dan is married to Laura Resecker who also sings lead and backup for Bluegrass 409. When he is not singing and playing, he is spending time with his 8 Grand Kids! |

Laura, AKA “La La”, comes to us straight off the heels of The Stone Cutters. An adult contemporary/Easy listening band. Married to Dan Resecker since 1997, Laura has been singing and performing since the early 80’s. Her influences include Allison Krause, The Whites, Doyle Lawson, and of course Bluegrass 409! |

Kirk Etheridge: Bass, lead and backup vocals |
|
Kirk has played in Rock bands since the age of 17. Introduced to bluegrass within the last 8 years, this is his first leap into the upright bass and he is doing a great job. His solid timing and musical knowledge keeps the band on track. |

Scott Thigpen: Banjo |
|
Scott started playing banjo about 8 years ago at age 30. He has been with Bluegrass 409 since the beginning, and has come a long way in the last few years. Scott looks forward to expanding his ability and loves to play traditional bluegrass music. |

Brian Hayward: Mandolin |
|
Brian is the newest member of the band. A guitar player for 25 years, he has switched to mandolin in the last couple and is doing a fantastic job. Brian has brought new energy to the group and is constantly learning new material. He has added much to the overall sound of the band. |
